Where can we find locally rooted solutions to the middle-class squeeze?

From jobs to housing to education, Life in the Valley Economy 2008, Working Partnerships’ newest report, analyzes the rapidly changing Silicon Valley economy from the perspective of working families.  The report focuses on five critical areas:

State Treasurer Bill Lockyer has been a champion for working families and a leader for social justice his entire career.  Bill served as California Attorney General from 1999-2006 and left a lasting legacy at the Department of Justice.  Bill fought for consumer protection, took on the energy companies and recovered billions of dollars for California rate payers.  As State Treasurer, Bill has opposed fiscally irresponsible corporate giveaways and is working to provide solutions to California’s structural deficit.  Please join us for a conversation with Bill Lockyer and Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins.
