Asian American Recovery Services, Inc. and Asian Pacific Islander Wellness Center is proud to announce that we will hold an HIV, Hepatitis, Substance Abuse, and Cultural Competency Capacity Building Training targeted towards the Asian & Pacific Islander Community.
We are holding these trainings at 3 different locations for your convience. Please view the attachments for the COURSE OBJECTIVES, more information about these FREE trainings (with lunch and snacks provided), and to register.

Course Objectives
• Familiarize participants with local data on HIV, Hepatitis, and Substance Use epidemic and how it is affecting Asian & Pacific Islanders (A&PIs)
• Provide basic and practical information of HIV, Hepatitis, Substance use, and Cultural Competency as it relates to A&PIs
• Provide useful tools for engaging A&PIs affected by these conditions
• Increase awareness about A&PI cultural norms for those impacted by these epidemics
